Tickets have just been released for the popular UTOPIA event at The Rolls Royce Pavilion, Derby on Sat 19 Jan. Please reserve you space as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. UTOPIA offers a different sort of freestyle as the emphasis in on chilled but challenging music such as Blues, Latin, West Coast Swing, Contemporary R&B and Soul. This music played is similar to that found in the Blues Room (Thunder Ballroom) at Escape Events and it has challenging rhythmic breaks and interludes which allow you the freedom to express yourself on the dance floor. Q. I don't know any other dance styles apart from what I learn at CEROC, won't I be out of place at UTOPIA? A. Absolutely not! The music allows you to dance using the dance style you know. Q. I don't like slow music. A. All we would say is come and try! The music may different to a regular night but it is still challenging. At our weekenders the blues rooms are always packed! Q. Can I just turn up and pay on the door? A. Sorry no. In order to gender balance the event we need to know who is coming and we limit the attendances to ensure space to dance.
